Mayank Chhaya, Journalist, Writer, Digital Painter 

Mayank Chhaya is a journalist and writer with a career spanning 33 years. He has reported extensively out of India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and the United States since 1981. He has reported on all aspects of South Asian life and covered all major news stories in the subcontinent in the last three decades. Chhaya is an extensively published commentator on South Asian and South Asia-America affairs.

 

Apart from currently heading GCLLC as its Chief Writer and Co-founder, he is also a full-time writer with two published books. He is involved in writing three more books. The two published books so far include a biography of Sam Pitroda, a technology guru widely credited as having revolutionized India's information technology and communications sector, and an authorized biography of the Dalai Lama. The Dalai Lama biography titled 'Man Monk Mystic' has been published in 24 languages so far, including in America by Doubleday/Random House. He is about to reissue an updated version with four new chapters.

 

Chhaya has been dabbling in digital art for the past two years. The artworks lend themselves to both as decorative abstracts as well source material for merchandising across several media, including fabric, pottery, and most other materials. For more information contact GCLLC.
